CPA Australia has organized a Book Donation Campaign for SJK(C) Chung Hua Sambir, Kota Samarahan.

If you happen to be doing some spring cleaning and found some books that you have no more interest in, don’t let them go to waste. All you need to do is  just drop them at the CPA Australia Kuching Member Centre at the given time below. You will be doing the school & students a good deed.

First opened in 2004, Pusat PDK is a house which operates as a day care for disabled children who are staying in the semariang, buntal area. There are around 30 children who have currently registered with the day care.
Disabilities suffered by the children ranges from autism, lowe syndrome, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, deafness and other.

A few exercise are carried out daily by physiotherapist and nurses from government hospitals daily to help stimulate the children.

The day care is always in need of extra funding. In addition they also require childrens’ books, diapers, milk powders and mattresses (as many of the children are bedridden) . All donations can be made directly to : Pusat PDK Buntal.

The daycare welcomes visits of NGO groups and other volunteers.

In 1999, a group of parents of children with cancer met formally to discover ways in which they could help each other and their children.Protem committee was formed on 26th September1999 with the initial group of parents of cancer children
