We are at Song Kheng Hai Hawker Centre again, but this time we are talking about Kong Pia, a Hock Chew Delicacy, made of flour and sesame seeds. At this store, the owner served the Kong Pia, fried and stuffed with minced pork, very nice and juicy. One Kong Pia only cost RM0.70, 2 will be enough for a light snack or even a light meal.
Other than Kong Pia, the owner also makes Rojak, another local delicacy prepared with cucumber, radish, pineapple and other fruits, mixed with what the local called “prawn paste. The Rojaks are priced at RM2.00 (normal) or RM3.00 (with cuttlefish). The store opens from about 10 am to 7 or 8pm, also depending on the availability of the ingredients.
